I had forgotten this was here. I was pondering returning to blogging and i started poking around as to what i could use and realised this already existed. WordPress it is then, a ten year old, hardly used blog can be the host to the next chapter. I started on Blogger, but that seems basic and weird now. I spent a few glorious years on iWeb from Apple and loved it there, but for some unknown reason Apple just pulled the plug on it one day and i struggled to warm to blogging after that and it fell by the wayside.
Now i have a reason for getting back into it. !st November 2024, for reasons i suppose i might explain one day i joined a websie for male survivors of sexual abuse. A week later i decided i would write an Open Journal and post it on their forums. I felt it would be useful to write about my experience as i explored the subject of abuse and might help others on the same road. It also gave a light structure to posts and meant i had a reason for writing. Writing helps me to process thoughts and feelings so it helped me as i went along.
I am going to post that journal here under the same name, Open Journal, they are numbered entries. partly from the point of view of reaching a wider audience and opening up the debate. Once i have gathered enough courage i will link to it from my various social media things. I will just copy it over with a bit of light editing to remove any site relevant material
I might blog inbetween journal posts as the mood takes me.
i am going to have to learn how to use this all over again … so this is a test to see if comments work
