wp daily writing prompts one

so often these prompts don’t inspire me to write whole pieces, but i might have a short response.
So I am gonna write those on a page.

Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

I’m not sure i do hobbies as such. people say to me ‘oh you do gardening’ as if i decided one day to take it up as a pastime. The truth is, that if you end up with a garden it is just there. You need to learn what to do or else it just grows huge and takes over your world. So i know stuff and do it but i wouldn’t describe it as a hobby. Hobbies feel like things you should choose, deliberately, like you mean it.

I might indulge myself if i was to suddeny become rich, collect something like a library, or albums. I have no urge to do crafts or knit or learn to strip an engine. Or learn to strip. Maybe learn a skill, ride, sing or swish an epee.

You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?

Wonder if it is true. Reject the idea. Worry it is a scam. Call my wife. 

If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

That you are never allowed to harm a child for any reason. If you did it would be met with severe punsihment. Let fear be something the perpetraor feels not the children. Let children feel protected and safe.

If there were a biography about you, what would the title be?

A Big Heart — But That Mouth!

Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?

Usually to do with driving. 

I have broken other laws and been punished for them. I would not consider them that serious but you can’t tell some people.

Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

I am in the sense that I like my country and I like that I come from here. I wouldn’t say we have much to shout about but we have our moments where the inherent creative beautiful spirit of what it means to be British shines and that can be wonderous to behold.

Write about your approach to budgeting.

If there is money to spend then enjoy it. If there isn’t any money, get by as best you can. Which is why I have never had any direct control over income or expenditure. I don’t exactly get issued an allowance but I know what I better not do
